Paying homage to Calista’s Japanese roots and her Mother’s maiden name 山ノ内 ‘Yamauchi’ (inside mountains), Uchi celebrates the homes we carry within us, our own ‘inner homes’.
Soon to become a mother herself, Calista was inspired by doing workshops with Migrant Help’s mother and baby groups. The Uchi project is being released to celebrate Refugee Week 2021 and Team Uchi are doing musical workshops with the families and children in Migrant Help’s care.
